Palm Treo 750

Blackberry connect

I just installed blackberry connect on my 750v and I am on the T-Mobile network. Work great and withing about 20 minutes, I was receiving email just like my old 8700. Email is the weak point for the 750v and this just improved a whole lot.

I will write a review in a week or two after I get used to using this new phone.

I have a couple of questions for you about the blackberry connect.

1. Where do you get the software to load this on your device?

2. Does blackberry connect work with a Blackberry enterprise server?

3. Do you have to make any changes to the device settings or the blackberry enterprise server.

The only problem I have had is in downloading .jpg files (a known issue). It won't let me view them. Other than that, it was easy to install and T-Mobile recognized it right away. I would say less than half an hour from start of install to getting my email again.

I again am getting my email in a timely fashion. One of the reasons I went with the 750v was with blackberryconnect being available (otherwise I would have stayed with my 8700c).

Oh I almost forgot. I only use the BIS, not BES. I don't know how it would work with BES. Check the forum thread and see if anyone has any dealings with it.
