HSDPA? PalmOS version?

Would the Cingular version support HSDPA in addition to UMTS? Will there be a PalmOS version?

yes for the HSDPA/UMTS. And the Palm OS version, which is also comignt o cingy, is the Treo 680. Same form, but with Palm OS, instead of winMO

The Treo 680 only has Quad band GSM and no 3G.
The 680 is an affordable upgrade to the 650 but features are almost the same. You can see the specs for the 680 on the palm web site

btw there are dummies of this phone up at a fry's in houston, have seen the pics. so it will be very soon when the 680 comes out but who knows about the 750.

PalmOS does not support 3G. It has to be a multi-threaded OS to support 3G.

PalmOS 6.x (aka Cobalt) is supposed to handle multi-tasking, but I don't know what its status is...

Cobalt Status = Dead.

New Linux based OS possibly sometime next year...... possibly.......
