When you're in the camera mode hit the key right to the left of the track ball and go to options. You should be able to turn off the shutter sound that way. If you can't figure it out from there, then write back I'll explain it in greater detail.

I would like to silence the shutter as well but can't seem to find a way to do it. Please....someone....help.
