BlackBerry Pearl 8100
Trouble loading avi and Mpg videos to my BB8100....
I have downloaded several avi and MPEG videos and have not been able to play them. I loaded them to my Pearl by copying them via the enabled mass storage feature. Please share the correct method to load videos.....Thanks!

I don't think that the pearl supports anything buy ".avi". You should be able to open the avi's that you put on the mass storage device by going into media, video, media card.

Just google for blackberry video converter or go to http://www.seabyrdtech.com/bbvideo for the FREE app. GUI based and very easy to use. Install it and then you can convert any videos you want that you could get your hands on. There's some free Pearl-enabled videos you could download from there too. I download videos from google videos all the time, convert them and put them on my Pearl in the video folder. Got a few DVD movies on my Pearl now and enjoying that when I'm riding in the car or something. Found a site that has lots of FREE ringtones and wallpapers at http://www.tuneusin.com so check it out.
