Ring tones?

UUMM i just got my dash today and i looked at all the high end phones over and over agin and for the price and having the most of what i want in one phone the dash came out the winer. anyway my point is i just got home and im ****ing with it and i cant find a way to get ring tones? this is my first day with t-moil i had spring and i just got free ones on the internet. but what do i do for the dash?

Hey, yeah just download some songs onto your phone through the computer, and they'll be available in your ringtone option. The only drawback is that while these work great for phone call ringtones, they won't work great for messages. Don't do it. There's nothing as frustrating as having a seven minute song as your ringtone for text messages, and then having the entire song play out, even after you've replied and deleted the message. To make ringtones for messages, simply get a program to crop the song.

I have some song on there but they dont just pop up as options under ring tones? i can do recordings of songs that sound ****y but i cant really here them. i would love to know how to set a mp3 as a ringer??

What format are the songs in? What folder did you put them in?

i just used the media player and draged them? what file do they need to be in to become ring tones?

I just dragged mine using active sync, I can use both the ones I have in the storage card and in the phone, and they all show up when I choose ringtones. I put them in my documents

i hhatteeeeeeeeee the dash sooooo much for the message tone thing every thing else in the phone is great but that one thing kilss hopefully they correct that in the soon to be updated dash and everything....
