Motorola RIZR Z3
problems receiving multimedia txt msg – pictures
Just got the Z3 yesterday from an eBay auction. The phone works great, for the most part . . . the battery is still full on one charge.
However, I'm having a problem with text messages that have a picture attached. I've talked with Cingular (my carrier), and they don't know how to configure the phone since they don't offer it. I talked with Motorola, and they informed me the phone is an overseas phone, and they will not have the information to configure the phone in the US until it's debut. 😳
Does anyone have a way to configure this phone and the settings for Cingular.

just tell customer service you have a phone you bought from them and you accidently deleted your mms settings... and ask them for them, and hopefully they'll tell you. im pretty sure they're the same for all phones; it doesn't matter whether you have a rizr or not.

Got all the settings entered into the phone. However, when trying to connect to the internet, I get "Data Server not available." This may be a Cingular server problem, but my wife's RAZR connects.
Any ideas?

The plan is still active, and I've confirmed that I have all the correct setting for WebAccess.
How would the phone have been screwed with? If it has been hacked, is it possible to hack the device to work properly?
Here's another interesting discovery, there is a Google access in the menu, and believe it or not, I can access Google and goto another web address. This leads me to believe the settings aren't entirely correct.
Does this seem like a viable avenue to follow?
