Is this the only place to check to see if there is a SW update for the phone?
I would really like to know when there is an update that fixes the VIBE + Ring not allowing your contact ringtone to work.
That really annoys me.

I was told by the Verizon Tech support that they will notify customers through your monthly notice when the software patch is available. I thought that was a bunch of crap. I hate the fact that you cannot have the vibrate-ring feature unless you only what to hear one ringtone for all calls.

Im thinking about getting this phone...what do you mean about vibra+ring....it vibrates than rings? does it do it together? when u have the feature on, your ringer ids dont work?? 😕

If you turn on the feature to have your phone vibrate AND ring at the same time, your contacts seperate rings will NOT work.
IF you turn off the vibrate and just have your phone ring, the seperate rings for your contacts WILL work.

I have owned several motorla phones in the past and everyone of them had vibe-ring function. If you had a contact specific ringtone and you changed your sound to soft from loud than that contact would no longer have that specific ringtone unless you set it up that way. In other words you had to set there ringtone for all sound options. This new UI doesnt have any of the old feature which I had grown used to. I dont like it as much as the old Moto UI that is for sure.
