Bluetooth DUN on Sprint KRZR K1m

Just got my Sprint K1m, and trying to set up DUN/tethering on it via Bluetooth.

I've got it paired with my XP machine, and it shows up as a Modem device which appears to be working fine. I've set up the dial up number as #777, and username 'web' password 'web'. I hit Dial and the phone asks for permission to use DUN, which I hit Grant.

However, then XP after 1-2 seconds comes back with "The Remote Computer Did not respond".

Has anyone got this working yet, and are there any steps I'm missing here?

Thanks!

New info... after a few reboots, it says it's "Connecting as Modem", but then I get the following error on the phone:

"Error #67 Registration Failed. Your Power Vision username and/or password may be incorrect. Please try again."

Is the username/password for the Windows DUN something other than web/web or blank? Do I need a unique login?

I've installed the PCS Connection Manager, but that does not work at all. I suspect it is not updated to support this phone.

Well, after 3 calls to customer service and two to tech support, I was told that the reason it didn't work was because I didn't have the "Phone as a modem" plan, which costs an additional $39.99 a month.

Is that right?!?!

yes it is.

your phone is attempting to verify your powervision "modem" username.

it does not exist because you dont have the plan.

therefore, error 67.
