does the key pad light up also or is it a solid white. i would imagine it would light up but im not sure.

I find the most convenient way to charge my battery is on a separate unit. This is fantastic for spare batteries.

Does anyone know if a stand-alone accessory is available that will charge a Chocolate Battery without the phone?

I have a few questions. Mostly , does this phone have a missed call reminder sound?

Does it also have a low battery warning SOUND?

I have the Motorola Q and it is a good phone, but I am having trouble adjusting to the fact that it doesn't have the two above mentioned items.

PLUS, I cannot download ringtones and it is becoming increasingly difficult to use because the ringer is not loud enough and I often miss the phone ringing because of this.

I am also wondering if the bluetooth comes on automatically (I have the motorola 850?) when one flips the bluetooth boom on. Does it make a sound for that also?

The Motorola Q takes a few seconds and also does not give a sound to tell you that the bluetooth is, in fact, connected. I used to have the e815 and I miss this feature alot!

Sorry for all of the posts, but I am thinking about trading in the Motorola Q for the issues that I am looking for in another phone that my e815 had.

Can you ONLY get the songs onto your chocolate phone by purchasing them from VCAST or can I load them directly from my computer WITHOUT buying more software?

I just picked up a generic data cable for my new chocolate and had planned on using Bitpim to transfer the music to the phone. Now that I am looking at it, I do not think that works. Short of picking up a memory card (I will sooner or later) is there a way to get MP3s into the phone's on-board memory?

so i pressed menu 0 security code 000000 then i went under battery and i noticed it says power saver but its off, how do i turn it on???

Can anyone tell me if you can use the speakerphone w/ the slide closed. In other words can you answer the phone w/out opening the slide in speaker mode.

If you have the Chocoalte and USB cable, you can now update your phone with software v04.
This will add speakerphone plus some other updates, such as 1 push unlock instead of 2.

the left soft light is staring to dim i noticed this, this morning, and i didn't buy an insurnce. does anybody know wats going on with my fone and do u think the manafacturs warrenty will cover it? ☹️

I have the vcast software. I downloaded the drivers, but it won't go further because i have a newer version of the media player. secondly, it won't pick-up the phone on the initial sync. it just won't pick-up any device? any help would be fantastical.

I was trying to use the voice recording function
(menu -> Get it Now -> Get Tunes & Tones -> My Sounds -> 1. Record New)
but it seems like it has a time limit of 60 sec.
Are there any ways to ignore the time limit for voice recording? I really need this function and I like it, only it has that annoying 60 secs time limit... ☹️

Does this happen to amyone else? when you press the side camera button, sometimes the program comes up but the screen is pitch black... and then when i end it and start it again it works... is it just a bug or what? u think this will be fixed with the furture upgrade with speaker phone..? i don';t want a phone that has a camera that sometimes works and doesn't....
