LG VX-8500 Chocolate
mono sound only????
maybe im setting up my headphones wrong, but after inserting the headphone port in the side, i bought a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter at radio shack. but i only get sound in my right head phone. anyone else have this happen? if this is how the phone is that is a ****ty oversite by LG, who wants a mono sound mp3 player???

There is a long topic on this at about page 4 or 5. However... you will only find the answer to your problem (extra input on the adapter for a mic) and not a solution.
That being said... can anyone who has done it let me know if there is an adapter that 100% works to turn normal headphones (3.5mm) to the size needed for the chocolate (someone at the end of the last thread said they weren't normal 2.5mm). I'd really like the mic in it as well to answer calls.

This is kind of what I am talking about, but have no idea if it works. I would also be totally satisfied with an adapter that is purely for sound... as long as you don't have to keep it popped out one notch.

mine is fine for just headphones but having it be only in one ear??? cmon u market a phone as an mp3 player, put the time in for awesome music software and then u need a 3 inch adapter for the headphones and its only one ear, disappointed.
