Can anyone tell me because the antenna is located on the bottom of the handset if it will cause any reception or transmission issues???????? 😕

Thanks for the response. Ironic that in the manual that Nokia shows a diagram to keep your hand away from grabbing around the bottom part of the handset which would interfere with reception(according to Nokia). I guess it is a trial and error type of use. The 6290 is the next step in this series of phones. Read the specs. Hopefully Nokia stays on track with user-friendly flip-phones that do what they are intended without to many distractions like Samsung and Motorola seem to be more into at this time. Just be careful with the only problem I have found with this series of Nokia. When charging the phone, be careful that the phone does not display "Local Mode". It means there is a corruption in the communicator circuit. You can resolve this by ...
