Need Help with Email Problem

I have set up a POP account, twice to be sure it was right, and when I try to send an email with it I ge a return email that states the recipient was invalid. The recipient is valid and the address correct and I get the same message no matter who I send it to. Also, while it returns this email to me, it also downloads all other mail in my inbox so I know the connection is good. Any suggestions???

Many outgoing pop email servers will deny the email you send from the wireless device as it shows it coming in from an unknown source...the Verizon Wireless network. The fix is to use a different smtp server. Verizon wireless tech support should be able to assist.
