Playing MP3 through Bluetooth Headset????

I was out today and picked up the Gennum nXZEN BT Headset to try. I was reading the limited information on the package and it mentioned playing MP3 files in stereo and included an extra ear bud. Since there was a 21 day return policy, and I've read this is an excellent BT HS, I decided to pick it up.

Turns out, to play the MP3 files, you have plug in the audio interface cable they provide, one end into the plug in your XV-6700 (or whatever device), the other into the port for the power plug on the BT HS. There is another ear bud attached to this cable for your other ear.

Problem is, the plug on the audio interface is too big for the connector on the XV-6700. Do they make an adaptor for this?

Are there any BT head sets out there ...

Phantom Problem

Okay, so earlier today I was able to sync movies and music to my 6700. If I connected my phone to the computer via USB port, ActiveSync would automatically come up. This has just stopped. At this point, when I connect my 6700 to my pc it literally does nothing....at all. It doesn't even charge the phone. I thought that maybe it was a problem with my 6700, but when I took it downstairs and plugged it into the wall, it charged just fine. Anyone have any ideas? HELP!

PHM Registry Editor....... ONLY those who have it installed on your phones please

😕 Okay guys... Here is my dilema. I changed my phone, and traded again.. Then changed again.. Well long story short I'm back to my 6700 and have tons of software for the device with the exception of the PHM Registry Editor. All the links on the web don't work anymore. *Guess it was deleted by the programmers who developed the software* If you have this software already downloaded and installed in your 6700 and on your CPU let me know. I'll walk you through on how to email it to me because I need it too. I'd be willing to give you some DVD converting software that you would normally have to pay for and the pocketmusic*PPC Winamp* for the 6700... You can contact me at darionlear@hotmail.com or my Sprint PCS of 915-373-6182... Thanks guys!! DL...

XV6700 Touchscreen Sensitivity

I just purchased an XV6700 after reading the positive reviews that were posted here and at Howardforums. After having an Axim X50 tethered to my LG 9800 for 7 months, the 6700 seemed like nirvana.

Only thing is, the touchscreen seems somewhat less sensitive than my Axim's, especially in the center of the screen. Does anyone else have this issue? Is it a problem with mine or did UTStar make them that way to avoid accidental key presses?

I went to a Verizon store this morning and noticed the same thing on the display model.

Something is VERY Wrong With My PPC!! PLEASE HELP!!

Okay, so I've been trying to make my own ringers all day. Making the ringers isn't a problem. When I crop a song to say...30 secs, right? I use WMP10 to sync the file to my phone. Then, I find the file with 'File Explorer' and cut it. After that I use FE to paste that file into the 'Rings' folder. When I go to 'Sounds & Notifications', and select said file to be the ringer, it won't play. If I hit 'OK' it just changes it back to the default ringer.

After this happened to me a few times I tried to select one of the ringers that ORIGINATED ON THE PHONE, but they ALL do the exact same thing! They won't play, and if I hit 'OK' it automatically changes it back to that stupid defaul;t ringer.

I hope someone can help me. I hope I'm...

700wx vs 6700?!?!

okay, I got my hands on one to play with.. lol, don't ask how or where. I just did. 😛
okay the 700wx is a pretty cool little phone. solid, good weight and Windows 5.0 ... its not too different from the 6700 EXCEPT for the lack there of WiFi, or its slower 312 mhz processor compared to the 6700s' 416 mhz and WiFi. Both pretty much the same. 6700 is faster and the sliding keyboard is better. Oh yeah, and unless you're a die hard Palm fan *NOT ME* that is another down. My verdict? only get it if you want to envy the 6700 users 😛

Speed dial???

Does this allow you to link a speed dial number to your stored contact phone numbers? I currently have the old Samsung i500 and I can link up to 99 phone numbers to speed dial (not to mention 30 to voicedial)

I'm stupid... how do you do 3-way?

aww man.

Ok so here's what I do that's not working

1. Make the first call, wait for it to connect.
2. After first call connects, dial the second number and press talk

I tried variations of this... like pressing flash before dialing the second number, and pressing talk before dialing the 2nd number, but nothing seems to work... 😢

I checked in the manual and everything... don't tell me it can't do 3-way 😲

Please help? Thanks.

FONT & THEME HELP

Can you change the fonts on the "Today" screen/menu/page of your phone? If so, how do you do it? Can you install other fonts that will work in other areas other than MS Word? If so, where do you install? Does anyone know where to go to get free downloads of themes for the phone? Are themes easy to install?

Thanks a million,
Ratch
