I bought a Kyocera Jet for ampd, and love it, except it seems to just turn off for no reason, and won't turn back on until it's plugged in. Apparently it happens if I press all the buttons on the front face simultaneously (which I guess happens a lot when it's in my pocket) I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this and how can I fix it?
"The Jet is the first phone available from Amp'd Mobile, so it is all very new. As can be expected, there are some glitches. For example, out of the box the Amp'd Live feature (Amp'd's live/streaming media portal) does not work. Tech support is very friendly and assures me this will be fixed but at this point I cannot try out all the phone's features.
The hardware itself looks very stylish. The case is plastic which feels a little cheaper than my previous phone but it seems to be sturdy and it is all put together well. This phone will be released for a new MVNO-Amp'd Mobile.
-Amp'd will offer BOTH prepaid & postpaid accounts.
-Data packages WILL be available.
Do not have the link, but a rep w/ Amp'd mobile described that the plans will be similar to your cable company...eg you have basic cable for a set price (think of this as your minutes) and then you add on subscriptions to premium channels (think of this as data packages, text, etc)
Am I the only one who thinks the Samsung D307 is a huge step backwards? Samsung is known for making sharp phones with visual appeal - the D307, in my opinion, is a disgrace to my eyes. I wouldn't own that phone for anything - ug.
