text messaging question

as with the lg8000 you can view text messages on the front display instead of having to open the phone which is quite convenient does anyone know if the same feature holds true for the new razr?

by new razr do you mean this one? Well if you do, no the feature is not the same. There are no buttons on the front. I own the 8000 as well. As you know you cant change the ringer volume from the outside of the phone. Well if im not mistaken u can with the razr.

you are correct, you can change your ringers while phone is closed to vibrate, ring, silent, etc. With phone closed and speaker phone on you can also press the voice button and do voice dial with it closed as well.
