D600 in Fortune magazine

In the recent Fortune 75th Anniversery issue there was an in depth article about Samsung and a break down of the D600's inner workings. The article stated that Europe and Asia would get the phone first followed by the U.S. The article also said that the phone costs $130.00 to make and would retail for $600.00.

I don't know how reliable Fortune Magazine is on the pricing but, it sounds like the U.S. getting it later sounds about right. All the cool phones always take forever to get here.

Someone took my purse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen a bunch of responses about a DUN #777 and it allows internet access, but how , is it free , how much does it cost , I use to have a Sanyo MM-5600 but lost it at the mall along with my purse , Sprint sent me a Samsung A800 because the Sanyo was out of stock , let me just say that this phone is amazing , its so cute and pretty and sexy , but enough about me...Just Kidding ! But if anyone can teach me or help me in my predicament I would greatly appriciate it considering everyone here on this website is very educated in cellular phones and services. Thanks in advanced.

Two versions: Quad vs. EDGE

Just received official word from Korea:

One version, (the official phone of this winter's Torino Oylmpics,) will be tri-band with EDGE.

The other version will be quad-band without EDGE.

TV output?

On the info page, it says the D600 has TV-output. Does that mean this phone has a built-in TV tuner?

Rumored for Cingular

By years end 😁

Basically a GSM SPH-A800 but with Bluetooth and a sexier design profile 🙂

Is it coming to the U.S.

A lot of the articles on the web about this phone shows it as a European phone just like the Samsung D500. Will I have to import it or will a U.S. carrier have it anytime soon?

AWESOME!!!

This is a great phone. I've been looking for this phone for awhile. Ever since I seen something similar to this in Paris, I've been checking this site everyday for news on when it will be available here in the US. So when will it be available here? And for what carrier???

This looks to be one really nice phone! Beings as it's the 900 Mhz model, here's hoping for sure that it will be for TMobile! Outta be really something with the new 2 MP camera!
