CDMA 7100?

Are there any rumors that VZW will release a 7100 type Blackberry? Or at least a slimmer version of the 7520.

Thinking about this phone

I am thinking about buying the BB 7520, replacing my V710. It would be great to have access to my e-mail. My concern is the signal strength and call quality. Signal and quality with my V 710 has been excellent. My network is Verizon. I would like to hear some feedback from those on the Verizon network. Also are you able to pair this phone with the bluetooth earpiece and an automobile that is bluetooth enabled so that while in the car you use it's bluetooth system then out of the car the earpiece? Is there an updated BB coming out soon? Should I wait.? Many thanks

Best Bluetooth headset

Who out there is using a bluetooth headset with the 7250? Which headset seems to work the best with it (Call Answer/Call End/Volume Control).

Any input would be appreciated.

Alltel-Verizon BlackBerry Email "Roaming"

I know Alltel and Verizon have strong roaming agreements for voice, but what about for BlackBerry email service? I understand carriers are reticent to do data-related roaming agreements, but I assume these two carriers would find such an agreement beneficial. I travel in both Alltel-dominated and Verizon-dominated service areas, and BlackBerry email service in both service areas is important to me.

Thanks!

7250 w/o Wireless

Hey, excuse my stupidity, but I'm a bit of a newbie w/Blackberrys. I was just wondering if it was possible to purchase this without a data plan and turn the Always-On e-mail off if I just wanted to use it to Sync with my PC via USB.

I'm looking at this and the Treo 650, but this seems to have much better reviews...

7250 finally available from Sprint!

Can anyone tell me how much it costs to use a blackberry on the Sprint network? I don't know why Sprint won't put this info on their site like T-mobile.
Thanks.

My Impressions of the 7250

In case anyone really cares.

Just got the 7250 from Verizon this week and so far I like it a lot. Compared to the 7750, also from Verizon, it is a lot faster to navigate through the apps and the browser is a bit faster. I do kinda miss the bigger screen of the 7750.

Pros:
Faster that 7750
Bluetooth
Brighter back light
Light up keyboard is easier to read that 7750

Cons:
Wish the screen was bigger like the 7750
Wish it had infrared port

Verizon can really be stupid.

I'm a long time Verizon customer with a voice plan, currently on a contract running thru November.

I decided I wanted this Blackberry with a data plan. No problem, they will sell me one for the discounted, one-year (or two) price since I'm buying a data plan.

I said "ok, and also move my voice plan onto the phone ALSO".

They said "no problem, but we have to charge you retail for the phone in that case since you are cancelling your other contract".

I complained -- I was not trying to get out of my voice contract, I was willing (wanted to) keep it the same, and even offered to extend it a year to be coterminus with the Blackberry.

No go.

I wasn't trying to get a discount on the data plan (its $5 less if combined with the voi...

Looking for best Bluetooth Headset to use with 7250

I’m desperately looking for the perfect Bluetooth headset to go with my Blackberry 7250. I’ve tried about 5 different models and they all pretty much suck in one way or another.

Here is what I’ve tried so far.

Motorola HS820 & HS810: Echo galore on other end and volume too low for me to hear.

Ericsson HBH-300: Uncomfortable to wear for extended time and volume is not loud enough.

Jabra BT250: plenty loud, but picks up tons of background noise. People on other end sometimes complain of scratching and popping sounds. I really wanted to like this one.

Logitech Mobilefreedom: Uncomfortable to wear and looks goofy.

I’m looking for something that would work well in the car, walking in the airport, or walking outside. I’m get...

Blackberry 7250

I just bought a BB 7250 from Verizon Wireless. I was surprised to see that it does not come with a cradle to hold phone for recharge and synch on desktop. I called Verizon and they say they don't carry it. Can you get one?

Voice Quality

I have tried two Blackberry models from Verizon in the past and found that both of them have terrible sound (Voice) qualities. The Verizon network was great and email was quickly available throughout the entire United States (most areas).

But the problem existed with Voice Quality. How is the reception with this model and how does the voice sound using this model? Voice has to be my number one concern because I have to hear and be heard when talking to customers.

I thought for a minute or two of bolting from Verizon to get the new Blackberry from TMobile (Terrible Coverage Nationwide) and also from Cingular (Phone did not work inside my house.) Verizon has a real strong signal inside my home and I don't want to change.

Anyone tr...

Is it Mac OS X Compatible?

In the market for a unit that works with Mac OS X. I'm aware that the iSync feature won't work because of the limited Bluetooth features on this model. Should I wait for the Treo 650 to be released hopefully on Verizon?
