I like it.

Recently acquired NWIB Z3 Play, need a quick replacement for a few weeks, and a friend who got one in some deal for free basically traded some stuff and some help in doing stuff for the phone. Yeah it's big and bulky with the included battery back. and impossible to get a case for it with the battery pack. But oddly, I like the device, battery life is real good, speed for a SD 636 is pretty good and the screen is acceptable. While they're a few moto specific apps most can be disabled. Seems extremely well built. as an extra device its fine.

Wave hand over display

My Moto Z2 play also wakes up when you wave your hand over the display. I think this is standard for all Motorola phones that include gesture support. You can also double-twist the phone to auto open the camera, etc. Also worked on my Moto G4 Plus.

Not all versions support LTE 12/14/25/26/30/38/41/71............

First, it's about time a decent 600 series (636) processor is being used. Was really getting stale all the 625 and 630 that were being dumped on practically all US midrange phones with the exception of the 660 in a scarce few.
Secondly all vendors hopefully specify which variants of this phone they are selling. Hence the title above. Too many times they do not and subscribers are left screwed with LTE bands incompatibility in their perspective markets!!!!!
