Anyone been able to use the bluetooth to connect a palm T3 to the internet? I have not been able to as yet. The palm recognizes the phone as a moto phone, but will not connect to the internet.

I have a new Zire72 and am considering buying a V3. One of my primary wants is to use my V3 as a bluetooth modem to power the internet on my Zire. Does this work? Is it slow? Do I need anything besides MediaNet (Cingular)?

All help is appreciated. 🙂

I have tried, but cannot get it to connect using bluetooth and my T3. There is alot written on other forums, but not much specifically about the razr. Also the phone link does not have a driver for the razr.

You can't b/c the modem from your isp is not capable of connecting to a gsm phone. Smart for cingular and other gsm carriers. Then they can charge 79.95 for you to purchase a plan that allows you to connect through their network.

I thought when we used the phone as a modem, we would be connecting to medianet, which would make cingular our isp. Is this not the case unless we input the phone numbers of our specific isp?

When I had att service I had to dial *99 and it would connect me. Maybe cingular has a code as well. And yes you do connect to cingular isp.
