Priv review

I value your reviews and would rarely purchase a phone without consulting your site. That said I am a little disappointed in your Priv review. You basically focused on the keyboard and made your recommendation based on that. Why not evaluate as purely an Android phone with a keyboard as an extra?

Took them too long for sprint

It took them way too long for Sprint that I ended up buying a moto x pure. I couldn't be happier now but sorry BB you took too long

Maybe its a Renn Faire thing..

But at Renn Faire you learn terms such as privy, aka bathroom. They are often shortened to the word "priv".
I am not saying that is in anyway a reflection of this phone.. I am only saying that I am never going to be able to talk about this phone without making that connection.

Harsh and Bias

Quite a harsh review, but you were able to cough up a couple of complements(backhanded of course). Are you familiar with BB10 OS. It has a full swipe UI. Maybe that's why they used it with the productivity tab, not because they copied it from Samsung as you infer. Give it a break and put your negativity aside and evaluate the phone on merit and not your attempt to follow mainstream media with a death march against Blackberry... I am hopeful that your full review will be less bias and more objective like the one you are capable of producing.

Wondering?

I'm wondering if you have the option of using swype, or provided screen based kb instead of the regular slider kb?

$700?

This phone is DOA. That's too bad because a $499 price point could have put Blackberry back on the map.

Interesting

Too bad they refused to integrate Android on the Playbook.

Called it

When I said several months ago that if Blackberry were to survive they need to push out an Android phone, people thought I was mad. Nailed it.

And here we all were

counting Blackberry out. But if someone is going to make a flagship device with with a slide-out Blackberry keyboard, you can count me interested. Where was this device 3 years ago?

Time to say goodbye

They need to play this outside their HQ on a massive megaphone. Sell your patients and run - or go the way IBM went.
