$90 Per Month?

Why wouldn't you just buy a low end phone for $90? Problem solved!

No VoLTE, no band 12

No good for T-Mobile customers. Bummer.

3rd Generation

They upgraded somethings only but come on already, 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) quad-core is getting stale already. Could have at least bumped it to a Snapdragon 615.

Donald trump

needs to come in and fire the entire design staff....

I don't think it's a lack of innovation because Moto has some of the best features available but they are now some of the crap ugliest phones.

Motorola

Motorola used to be the big dog, along with Nokia back in the day. Now Nokia is no longer and Motorola has one foot in the grave too. Google really f'd up Moto when they took it over. They raided their patents like some pirates and then sold the scraps to wolves. Motorola needs to come out with something innovative, but I doubt that will happen now that it's not an independent company. Stop copying Apple too with non removable batteries. Samsung is copying Apple and that's not a good thing. People buy Android because they don't want Apple, so why would they buy an Apple clone Android device like Motorola or Samsung?

Best Budget Smartphone?

Great review of the 2015 Moto G but the only version worth considering is the $229 16GB version. I'm still not certain which is the best phone for the money:

Microsoft 640 less than half the price of the Moto G

ALCATEL ONETOUCH IDOL 3 $20 more

Asus Zenfone 2 16GB $30 less

LTE-A

I am guessing it does not support carrier aggregation? I haven't seen any reference of it while it is clear the Moto X Style does. Thanks for any input.

5.7"? Are they crazy?

Have they learned nothing from the Nexus 6 debacle?
