on options tab set the start and finish time
play the song to make sure u have the section u want. u can goa back and chage this as much as u like till u have it right
advanced tab> convert selection to mp3
hit play
drag the little clip from the library to the desk top and rename with a .mid ecxtention
transfer to flash card
put flash card in phone
transfer to phone memory from card
asign to friend
have friend call
a good laugh had by all
hit rename ( it should be highlighted blue)
just erase.mp3 and type in .mid
If you're in WindowsXP (I think same for 2k), in any window go to
Tools > Folder Options > View > Uncheck 'Hide Extensions for known file types' > Click okay
When you're done renaming, you can get it back. It gets in the way to have extensions shown sometimes.
Finally, this works. Thanks for the step by step instruction. Goodbye ringtone ripper hello iTunes!!!!!!!! 🙂
