Deadline to participate in Class Action Lawsuit

I was reading over the legal settlment, and I noticed that in order to participate you must submit all supporting information within 60 days of the initial mailing of the notices. I know everyone on here has been anxious about this settlement. But I myself am hoping for the initial notification to come later rather than sooner, so that we get until the end of the year. The rumor is that the CDMA RAZR for Verizon might be released by then, and I am sure it will be expensive, and for those of stay who have no choice but to stay with Verizon because of the quality of service connectivity, according to the wording we get reiumbursed for the purchase of a new phone. I take this meaning that if the phone is $300 we will be covered -- that is if...

When are these notifications supposed to come? And how do they know who gets them? I bought my phone the first week it came out...should they automatically send me something? Or did I have to sign up for the class action?

I am sure they will post the information in the near future, and you will just have to submit the proper documentation. WE should be getting someone in the mail in October apparently.

reimbursment, up to the price paid for the original V710.

Right, that is true if you plan to cancel your VZW service, not if you plan to return the phone and stay with VZW:

"OPTION 3: I want to return my Motorola V710 cellular telephone, with or without accessories, for a refund up to the purchase price of a NEW CELLULAR phone, but keep my Verizon Wireless service."
