Sick of waiting, Ordered Tmobile
Been Lurking for a while, great forum.
I have been interested in getting this phone for while, and I certainly don't have the patience(as some of you have đ )
My 2 year contract with att just expired a couple of days ago. I was on an unlimited 24/7 plan $99.00 month . I liked the plan, but no roaming included âšī¸ That is a big drawback.
I just purchased the A630 from amazon, with the $45.99 mnth 1,000 minute plan( now I have to count minutes âšī¸, t-zones, and text messaging.
I'm in NYC, i've heard that tmobile service is comparable to att/cingular?
One thing that bothers me is having to get a new number, but what's the big deal, not to hard to let ppl know your new number. One thing I wanted that tmobile doesn't have...

like Xandlyn I'm waiting. I'm surprised t-mobile would not let you keep your old number. By Federal law carriers are required to let customers keep their old number if they wich to do so. Also, I hope you don't travel cuz t-mobile coverage sucks. I waited 6 months for my mini ipod and I certainly can hang in there a little whill longer for the a630. (Actually it can be anytime now) đ
I think it has to do with amazon, while ordering the phone there was no option to transfer the old #.
I just hope the service isn't too bad here in the city, I've heard good things bout the service in the city. At least I only have a year contract lol đ

Only problem is t-mobile through amazon.com has already sent me the new # they want me to use. I don't know if i'll be able to do it. I'll try though, thanks.
