A670 Being taken off Verizon Market
I haven't seen any posts for this phone yet about it being taken off the market. Its actually not being taken off the market but there not giving any more out. I work for Asurion Insurance and currently right now and in the past few weeks any claim that is filed for the 670 is being replaced by the Audivox8910. I'm not exactly sure why it is being replaced something with samsung and verizon. I know that sometimes customers can go in and buy a 670 but its just verizon trying to get rid of there stock but were not allowed to send out and 670 and trust me ppl like there 670's way too much.
PS There is also one other phone being replaced through Verizon the LG 6100 is being switched with the Mot 276

They're replacing the a670 for the Audiovox 8910???? That is completely unacceptable!!! That's like trading a shiny red apple for a bruised one with worms!!!!
That's ridiculuous!!!

The reason that it is being taken off of the market is that it had like a two and a half year production run, and samsung has come out with a whole new line of phones. I have written about the new samsung 950 on my blog. To read about it, click Here

If it is, then I have a mint conditioned with standard, extended battery for sale. Comes with Bitpin data cable. This is cherry as you can get. ferniesp@cox.net. Sell price is $150.00 USD.

I called Verizon to ask why they are not carrying it anymore. They told me it was a "limited time/while supplies last" phone for them.
They also said if you already have one, or plan on getting one soon to go ahead because they are not phasing them out in any way, just not selling the actual phone anymore because they can't get anymore from Samsung.

The A670 is a great phone but it has a fundamental problem with the clam-shell design. That is, it breaks a lot. We've got four of them and one has just broken, my own is cracked, and the other two appear to be OK as best we can tell. The Verizon folks I talked to told me that this thing has a defective design. Too bad because I like the phone otherwise. But I'm sure that has a lot to do with Verizon no longer offering it. However, contrary to the reply where someone said that they are replacing the unit with an Audiovox Verizon here in the Atlanta area are still offering replacement A670s. They just don't sell it for new customers.
