I'm fuming. I went to put my SIM card in my Treo 600 and when I went to turn on the phone connection the phone shut down and refused to turn back on. I put it on the charger and it powered back on, but it reset to the factory settings! I LOST EVERYTHING! I lost my schedule, my extensive address book, pictures, text messages, etc. Now, when I take it off the charger, it resets all over again. It refuses to stay on when off the charger. It was fine yesterday.
Has anyone else had any complaints of any echo-ing going on with the Treo 600? Seems like I am constantly having someone complain about an echo with this phone. Does anyone know of any remedy? I have looked on Palm's website and haven't found anything. Thanks
I was wondering if it is possible to transfer all my contact and datebook data from my clie to my treo, if anyone knows, I'd appreciate the help. If it can't, I use a program called Abacus to act as an organizer on my pc, could I transfer my data from Abacus to the Treo? Thanks!
Hi I need to check my aolmail on my treo. Can someone please help me and let me know what i should do. Someone said to try and dload aol 3.2 but i wanted something more like the mail software already on the treo so it would let me know when i have mail without having to keep logging into aol. Thanks so much.
I noted that my TV, all my stereos, and some other gear is succeptable to interference by the Treo600.
I was watching some dvd's and the Rotel amps picked it up. Not the kind of thing I expect from a $5995 amp, but I noted that the Treo causes my monitors to wobble the image if it is sitting in the cradle or in close proximity to the computer.
In the car I get noise as well. Leave a home radio on and have your Treo in say ~10 feet of it, and you'll hear a specific pattern of noise, but it is not constant, it must be a network thing or something, but it SUCKS.
Has anyone heardf any thing about the new 650 due out in oct ish? Will the blue tooth be 2.0? Also will you be able to have pop3 one treo 650 with out haveing asdpecial email address for the treo? ~Drew
I just purchased all three to make a final determination as to which one will be my "permanent" device for accessing corporate e-mail and making calls when traveling.
The smt5600 is going back tomorrow. I really like the mpx220 but am waiting to see if I can deal with low volume issues.
Treo.... -is feature rich, nice phone sound and RF quality, is supported by my IT dept. to connect to my corporate laptop's Outlook -is a heavy brick... seriously, this thing is a heavy SOB -leaning toward keeping the Treo because I really wanted it to access corporate email away from the office and none of the others seem to do this... this is really the ONLY reason I would think of keeping...
Please someone give me advice. Would also... (continues)
