How does this compare to the Pantech Duo (C810)?

Looking to make the switch from a contract (it's not over) to a prepaid plan. Want to make a change with a phone as well. The Pantech still works fine but going to be giving it to someone else in the family. So looking for something that I can text on and make calls. Does anyone know how well the Magnet compares to the Duo?

Is it a step down? A side step or even a step above in some ways?

I don't need anything to fancy to be honest. I can't justify getting a true smart phone with a data plan to be honest. In fact I did just buy a HTC Incredible (great phone) but returned it the next day and ported my number back to my parents plan at ATT. Didn't care for it after I got it and well had a hard time justifying it even though I could affor...
