Samsung Sway U650

How do you add words to the T9 dictionary for this phone? I've tried spelling the word out in ABC mode and then switching back to T9, but it doesn't work, so please don't suggest it. This method used to work on my previous phone (2nd generation LG Chocolate), so I was wondering if anyone knows how to do it for the Samsung Sway?

i used to have a samsung drift when i had helio and never had any problems with it..but im a lil nervous about the touch screen from the sway!ive never used a touchscreen and im worried it will stop working fast!i dont upgrade til february! 😁
