Lock or unlock code

Isn't there a to lock or unlock a phone, by making a call to it. I seem to remember a old post saying somthing about it? Confused

There is a way that you can erase all the information on your phone from your computer if you want to do that, but for the SCP-5300 by Sanyo I had that is all you could do. No remote locking of it.

The feature is called "Found Me"

"Resetting and Locking You Phone through SMS"

When your phone is lost or stolen, you can erase your personal information (such as phone book entries, call history, and messages) and lock your phone by sending a special formatted SMS message to your phone.

Send the following format from your computer:


- Your defined passcode. Default passcode is 11-digit ESN (Electronic Serial Number)which is written on the package or on the phone itself under the battery.

The locked phone will display the following message:

"If Found, please call PCS Customer Solutions 1-888-211-4727."

For this to work you first need to enable the "Found Me" option on your phone.

What if my phone is locked? Its not stolen its a rigged phone. My friend screwed around and changed my password and cant remember it.

you can use the Denso PST or bitpim, the lock code is in the directory nvm\nvm\nvm_002 , there show the service programming code(SPC) an user lock code(4 digits) you use the serial data cable at 38,400 bps
