Motorola Unlock Codes - MPx200

LockedOut

Mar 2, 2004, 9:11 PM
I'm looking for any credible information regarding the Motorola Unlock codes. I have an MPx200 that I can't get unlocked anywhere - all websites in that space can't currently provide Motorola unlock codes for the MPx200 and it's making me crazy. Anyone have an idea when / how I can get this phone unlocked?! Thanks.

🙂 Thanks for the hand MotoPaulie! ATT is such a maze to get through to, most of the ATT Wireless support people dont have the first clue what I am talking about. Is it a specific division of ATT you know of? When I tell them I have this code, is it an unlock authorization code? How do I most accurately tell them what kind of code it is? Really appreciate the help!

🙂 here are some pieces of advice regarding this issue> try to get the call escalated to the technical support dept, because ATT's customer svc. only knows about billing account issues.
Also, be ready for being charged, because this issue implies losing a plan and its respective customer.
Yes, that code is the one we provide with at the moto call center, u have to give 'em the code, and your IMEI #, which is the ID of the phone, in order to deregister the sim card.
thanks 4 your message, and good luck!! 😎

Against company policy to unlock phones.

TSD is full of smart techies (mostly). They know their stuff, and I KNOW they know this stuff.

Good luck finding someone to do this for you! I know how, but I never will. 🙂

I've tried every trick with AT&T including MotoPaulie's and NOTHING. AT&T will NOT supply an unlock code and the internet's Motorola unlock servers are still down. That leaves me "Locked Out" 👿 👿 👿

Free solutions are unreliable and don't neccessarily work. The best way for you to unlock motorola phones is by using

Many different websites will unlock your phone. The free ones are best to avoid, they tend to damage the firmware. Go to google and do a search.
I've used
http://www.phoneblitz.com »
to unlock an mpx220 and it worked ok. It was 25 bucks, which isn't too bad for a guaranteed service.
