Flashing antenna for LG 8100

I've read that in order to get another antenna for the 8100 it has to be compatible with CDMA phones. I found a flashing antenna at daydeal.com that is compatible for my phone. However, I'm not sure how to install it. I know that the original antenna does not screw off. Anyone know how to do this or if a place would do it for me? HELP! I want a flashing antenna since that's the only part of my phone I can see when it's sitting in my purse. Thanks for the help!

you have to take the phone apart, there is a little screw in their. fyi i usually hear bad things about flashing antennas, weak signal, poor build quality.

2.There are 3 screws where the battery goes, use a precision phillips head or flat head(I used a flat head, it was smaller) to remove.
3. Then loosen the two screws at the bottom of the phone around where the charger plugs in.
4. Next you have to pry out the two rubber corks at the top of the phone by the antenna. Remove the two screws hidden underneath. You should now have a total of 7 screws.
5. Carefully pop the back casing up slowly and evenly, some of it snaps into place so it feels as if it can't be removed ...
