I really like LG as a manufacture. I used to have Verizon so I have used many models. I never had any problems with them and found them really easy to use and understand. I wish I was still with VZW because they have some good models out right now. I really like the feature set on the vx8000. I've been a Motorola and Nokia phone fan ever since I've been using cell phones -- which dates back to when they were closer to "bricks" than the lightweight "pebbles" they seem to be today! I just got the LG VX8000 through Verizon, and I'm hooked -- it's terrific! Haven't read the manual, but software and interface are so intuitive that I've been able to make my way through there with no problem. Great phone, great capabilities, great features -- the only two downsides I've been able to uncover so far are these: V-cast, Verizon's new broadcast feature ($15/mo., free first two months) doesn't work where I live, so I'll have to cancel the free trial (it continues on pay basis if you don't). LG = "Lucky Goldstar" not "Lifes Good"

I like my LG phone, I have had a couple and i have no complaints, Sound is good, and overall quality has been great. IM a good friend with somebody who works for Verizon, and the LG does NOT stand for "Lifes Good" He told me what it stood for But i forget!
