vx7000 stuck in "Car Kit" Mode
I had a customer stop by with this phone and it was stuck in "Car Kit" mode. We tried a hard reset on the phone and apparentely this phone has software issues. So if you or someone elses vx7000 is stuck on "Car Kit" mode, you have to take the phone to a corporate store so they can reprogram the software on the phone.

LG software is so buggy i can't believe it. don't they do any QA? glad i returned mine.. hehe.. 🤣

this is really funny cause my phone just did this 10 mins ago and when i read the first post about having to take it to corperate i was so pissed i threw my phone against the wall full speed and now it is off car kit mode. pretty funny if you ask me.

😳 🙄 Yeah well, you can check two things : check to see if you have gotten it wet and if corrosion has built up on the contacts at the bottom of the phone. Or you can check to see if the charging pins on the bottom of the phone are bent and/or touch eachother. Those are the only reasons that it would read "car kit". And yes it does have a car kit mode, that is what it reads when you have a hands free kit hooked up. 🙄 🤣
