Lgvx 7000 desktop charger?
Hello, I am considering upgrading to the LG7000 over my current LG6000 but dislike the fact that there is no desktop charger for the 7000 at least not one that I have been able to locate. Does anyone know where I might find one if they are indeed available for this model? Any other input that might influence my decision would also be appreciated...such as quirks that might have arisen with the new 7000 model. Thanks in advance for any input recieved.

The VX 7000 uses the SCI charger. This is the same port that the LG VX3200, Kyocera KX414, Audiovox 8900, and several Sprint phones, such as the Samsung N400, A500, A620, A660, and A680 use. I'm not sure if the phone comes with a drop in cradle like the VX-10, 4400, and 6000 do, but you can definitely pick up an AC adapter that allows you to charge the phone without removing it from the case/holster.

They're not manufactured for the 7000. This isn't a bad thing as it's one less thing that can go wrong.

While there is not a desktop charger for this phone, there are quirks with regard to the car charger for it. There are two versions of this phone, the blue and the black, however they share the same model number with no distinction. The blue model has an extra 2.5mm plug in for a car charger that the black model does not have. You'll need to be specific about which phone you have when buying accessories for it.
