Samsung T809 Modem Question?? URGENT
I am think about getting a Samsung T809 and wanted to know it it can be used as a modem. If yes can i connect it to my laptop via USB or do i have to use bluetooh dial-up?

it comes with a usb cord and the two options you can use for it is mass storage and modem. I haven't tried it but i know that the softwere has something for internet connection set up wizard. also in case you were woundering you can only set up mp3 that you downloaded from tmobile as ringtones you can still play other ones but only tmobile mp3 can be used as ringtones. you can still set amr as ringtones though.

You can use the T809 as a Bluetooth modem, in which case you don't need to install any additional software, or as a USB Modem, where you need to install the Samsung drivers and software and read the instructions.
One thing you have to remember with Bluetooth DUN is that the phone asks you for permission to connect. So if you don't authorize the connection on the phone, the connection attempt will fail on the computer.
