anyone know of any present or future abilities to play Online Poker (such as partypoker or ultimatebet) on a treo or any other smart phones, pda's, or pocket pc's?
I would love to be able to play online poker on the go.

I play online poker to supplement my income. It's not as fun as it may seem when you play it seriously. For example: when played to maximize gain and minimize loss, one should play an average of 15-20% of the hands he sees in texas hold 'em.

Although i thank you for the thought. I actually have not been playing all that much because i just changed jobs.

If anyone has any ACTUAL information on the subject as to the availability of online poker programs on a Treo or the like, please let me know.

pokerroom.com supports phone based addictions such as ours 🙂 The Treo is not yet supported which sux cause that is what I have -- maybe that is a blessing lol.

I contacted customer support and they said they are working to add both Blackberry and Treo to the list of supported phones sometime in 2006. No commitment beyond that...

Good luck and may the flop be with you...

Which phones do they support?

Also out of curiosity, whats the rake at pokerroom? 5%?

I play pretty much exclusively Sit and Go so I don't know the ring game rake. SNG is 10 percent which is pretty standard across the board.

Here's a list of the phones at PR:
