Since it it so expensive I have decided to do even more research on it. I am yet to find the answers to these questions:

How long can a video be taken if it is to be email?

Are incoming calls affected when the "Navigation" software is in use?

It is going to allow an upgrade of "Windows 6"?

I alraedy know it will not open an excel file that is 4meg. Is there a waty aroung this?

By the way, I called AT&T and they could not answer these questions. The told me to log onto this web site which I thought was little different. I thought they knew everything...

I currently own a PPC6700 which is not compatible with BMW's bluetooth system. I would invest in a new phone if it works!

Is there anything you can download to be able to watch you tube or google video?

UltimateBet.com says they have software "Coming Soon" for the Dash, but i know they have software for other windows mobile phone out there, any way to put in on the Dash?

If anyone is willing to goto UltimateBet.com and download there mobile software and try and get it working on the Dash, id be willing to transfer $5 to your UB account to play a few hands with me to tell me how it feels/looks on the Dash.

Please let me know asap, since I'm getting one or the other on Friday.

So I've got a Dash with a 1gb memory card in it and I have quite a bit of music on it and a ton of pictures but I am unfortunatley without a computer at the moment, I used to go through a website called singingfish.com but it has since turned to some crappy AOL site. Does anyone know of any sites that offer free music (Mp3s and WMAs) that I can download directly from my Dash internet access?

Would anyone know if AT&T is coming out with a new phone for Windows Mobile 6 or will it just be an upgrade?

My current contract with Verizon is about to expire and before renewing it, I'd like to get some advice. I am looking at getting the PPC-6700 and am interested in a comparison regarding features that are/are not available by carrier. I have read the reviews on the unit, and the blogs about the carriers themselves. What I need is an honest assessment on what the same unit will do on one network vs the other.

I have a T-Mobile Dash with Windows Mobile 6.

The other day I went to test out the phone at a T-Mobile Hotspot. I got the phone signed-on OK for the Hotspot/Wi-Fi, Internet Explorer and the Webpage...in this case "Wireless Advisor". I tried to sign in at the forums for Wireless Post's...it allowed me to fill in the blanks for my user name and password, but then when I tried to highlight the "click here to sign-on link", it jumped right over it! I tried hitting a couple of times the silver button in the middle of the Dkey...nothing. Also the same when I tried hitting the return key. Any suggestions of why I can't sign on to Websites? Is it a setting?

I also tried to sign on at two other forums, plus a webpage for real estate...aga...

Hi, I have an unusal issue that makes me nervious. I have this problem about a week because I own it just a week. Sometimes, I don't know why, I can't get any call from others(I have signal and such, looks like its online with my carrier). This occures just a couple of times and its very disappointing because I like the phone. Can help me someone with the problem? I would apprecitate it,

I recently switched from a Verizon VZ6700 Smartphone to a Moto Q on Verizon. On the Moto Q, i have been having a problem accessing yahoo mobile messenger via the web browser..web address www.m.yahoo.com.

What happens is one time i will go to that address, and the second menu choice is correctly "messenger", which when selected will take me to a messenger login screen. on most occasions though, the menu choice changes to "messenger info" (instead of messenger). when this occurs and i select it, it takes me to a screen explaining how you can download a verizon Instant Messenger program for "get it now" phones. So i cannot get the log in screen in this case.

Just to be clear, i went to a verizon store and took one of their demo units ...

Hello,

I have a question. I just got my treo 750. Why is my internet is constantly connected? I have the 39.99 PDA plan...

I keep disconnecting it on the top of the screen, then the "G" is shown..after a few seconds, it connects again...Is this suppose to happen?

1st: When I send e-mail's via-AOL, I'm noticing when later accessing the "sent" folder, that the sent copy of my e-mail is not there. I will check my AOL account on my home computer, and the e-mail has indeed gone out. Also, I have sent test e-mail's to work, and the e-mail has again arrived at it's destination. But again, the copy of the "sent" e-mail is not there. Now what was strange, is I did an Active-Sync tonight due to making some changes in my calendar. Just before it finished syncing, 4 e-mail's popped-up in my mail box. After the sync had finished, I tried sending out an e-mail, and I got a message that it couldn't be sent out...but a copy remained in the "outbox". I tried a couple of times, then deleted the whole AOL file and re-i...

Ok so we got the T-mobile dash yesterday, and it comes with AOL IM on it. It works great as far as "chatting", but one thing that is crazy is we cannot figure out how to change the message sound. It is EXTREMELY LOUD and is that standard AOL "brrrring" message sound. No matter if we put the phone on silent, vibrate, normal, ANYTHING, anytime a message comes in over AIM it is loud enough to make 10 people in a store turn and look at the phone thats in a case on my belt.

Does anyone have any ideas? I just finished talking to T-mobile smartphone support and we tried everything without success. It just seems insane that you can change every single sound on this phone except for the AIM message sound.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated. 😁

I come from the world of Palm. I've lived there since the Handspring days about 6 years ago. I am seriously missing those days of screen taping and getting things done quickly and easily since I now have moved to the world of Windows Mobile and I am discovering that it is quite a steep climb! Please help!

When I sync the Blackjack it also copies my music files to the device each time so after each sync the phone gives me an Alert indicating that I am running low on device memory and that I need to delete some files.

The thing is, under Active Sync I do not have windows media checked off as one of the items that i want synced.

How do I change the settings so that it stops copying my music files to the device each time I sync it?

I work in the legal industry and I am unable to enter courthouses with any camera or recording device. The same applies in major industries (automotive, defense, etc.) where there is a concern for proprietary design information.

This makes any camera/phone/PDA completely worthless in such fields. I recognize that the carriers love selling "toys for tots" that have cute and attractive little gadgets but, in doing so, they have abandoned the entire business class of subscribers.

They should consider producing a non-camera version, then offering a decent SD or CF pop-in camera as an accessory for those who need it. Users could likely get a better camera, yet still not be barred from places of business. The cost of the phone/pda would be...

Hi guys,

I'm trying to decide which phone to buy and I apologize in advance for really not understanding the technology behind all the different phones out there. I'm looking for a pda/smartphone that runs Windows Mobile.

What I would love help on is trying to understand what the difference is between phones that use the same windows operating system. Is is just a hardware difference, meaning different buttons, scroll bars, look/feel? In which case I'll probably pick the one that's the lightest and easy to fit in my purse.

Or does each mfg. actually do something unique to change the windows operating system so that some phones might be easier to use than others not because of hardware but because of some software integrati...
