Also, can't you understand that this is just hype? This same process happens anytime a new and exciting phone is announced. Let's recap some of the recent hype's:

2. ROKR (that one really advanced technology)

7. Sidekick
8. SLVR
9. Fusic
10. Gz One
I could go on and list more but you should get the point. This isn't an industry changing device, especially since it's available on one carrier. What it is, is a very very nice phone with good features and the ability to listen to music, and WiFi. Um, I think there are alternatives to it offered on every carrier.
Like I said yesterday, quit creaming your panties over this just because Apple makes it.

ya jobs announced that ichat will be through sms messaging (texts), which im kind of bummed about because my tmobile dash has this and its super super slow, definitly not INSTANT messaging..i kind of wish it was over data like the sidekick
and you wont HAVE to pay for internet access, phone will work with wifi and hotspots as long as you are on the cingular network, unlocking the phone i hear is impossible so dont try it, recoginizes when your not on cingular and locks all features up
T-Mob is behind?

1. yea its true, but it dosnt bother me at all. if your used to high res phones, then it might bother you for a while, but will eventually get used to it.

6. i love it! i haven't tested it long distances, but when i keep it in the lil pouch or in my pocket its just like holding it to my ear
7. same with the screen res. you get used to it after a while. i just keep it in the pouch that it comes with though.

It's not about obsession, it's about habit... I sell VZW phones, and I can't help but notice what people are using on TV (usually a RAZR, but the lady on "Weeds" has a Moto V60, that makes me laugh).

I usually only notice if they make it blatantly obvious, like some show I was watching where the phone was taking up the whole screen and so Sprint was on a quarter of my big screen TV. Or if I hear the T-Mo jingle as a ringtone.

Sidekick 3 CONTACTS trouble
hello everyone, this is long...but PLEASE someone bear with it and reply.
in november of 06 i bought a SK3. i was happy with it until i decided i needed more minutes...then after several days of TERRIBLE customer service, i discovered that with that kind of account i have (smart access, t-mobile) i could only have 300 anytime minutes with the SK3 unlimited Add-on. so i removed the internet and boosted my anytime minutes. after a while i forgot to charge my phone once...and then thats when i discovered the HORRIBLE problem....yes, its horrible if you depend on your contacts list being there when you turn your phone on... APPARENTLY you NEED the internet to store your contacts? what kind of CRAP is that? is anyone else having this problem? cause i think for such an expensive phone, it should be able to remember phone numbers without having to connect to the internet!!....also does anyone know if all t-mobile phones do this? cause i was thinking of switching to the blackberry pearl.

im having REALLY bad and stupid problems with my SK3. i think im going to switch, problem is i cant get my money back on the sk3!! so i have a really expensive USELESS phone!
