WOW! Nikoletta and Pete sitting by a tree... K.I.S.S.I.N.G! I actually know Pete1660 and you should take him up on that Nik...well, maybe not. Actually, I've been to Idaho Falls, not sure if you live near there, but I had a blast in that town for about a month. Sorry, to hear your nightmare customer stories.

I'm a fair drive north of Idaho Falls unfortunately. What's very funny is the fact that I almost never drink.

Blogs are just a place to vent. Get out whatever you feel like getting out, and we'll all probably be able to relate and get entertainment out of it.

I know but I like to think about what I want to post before I do it so there is some forethought in the post itself. It's a lot the same as my long ranting posts here, I've been planning them for a day or two before they end up going on the board.

That's what the delete key is for. You type and type and ramble, then delete everything you don't wanna make public.

"Customer is functionally retarded. Customer never wanted to actually place the order in the first place. Rep (me) explained multiple times to Customer that in order run the credit check we HAD to place the order and if Customer was approved the phone would ship out. Customer is now angry because exactly what Rep told the Customer would happen has happened and the phone is going to ship out at 4pm today. Customer wants order canceled. Rep has explained that Customer may return the phone once it has arrived. Customer has threatened to sue the company for 'fraudulent practices' if the order is not canceled. Rep again informed Customer that the phone could easily be returned once it has arrived. Please keep in mind, Customer DID authorize the order when specifically asked 'Do I have your permission to place this order and run the credit check?' His answer was yes. Please, dear god, pull this call."

Re: CLARIFICATION: Verizon Wireless V CAST Music - MP3 vs. WMA Files (Note):

my car is a 2006 with a 6 disc changer, my old car had a mp3 player but i didn't change my factory unit since it held 6 cds that is enough music for me. I also have a rockford fosgate amp and alpine woofers, so i listen to it loud and have never really noticed any quality loss from mp3 i have converted over.

That's great, but as I explained, converting from mp3 to CD Audio Format is a very different process than converting from mp3 to WMA. The former probably won't cause a quality hit, the later will. There are lossless or near-lossless conversions, and then there are lossy ones. MP3 to WMA is a lossy conversion, as WMA is a lossy codec (MP3 is also, for that matter). Do consider getting another mp3 CD player, which'll save you the hassle of converting your many mp3s. Plus, you'll be able to put 100+ songs on one CD... quite a space saver in your car. :)

i still recommend transferring to wma so you can use the play-list features and such. tons of programs out there can convert mp3's to wma's. most computers come with windows media player which will take care of it. side-note anyone know if you can use the internal memory on the phones for mp3's with the new software? i'm assuming it still only plays mp3's from the mini sd.
