This isnt really an upgrade to me its just a new casing with the same internal stuff with a music players and edge meh. :?

I am NOW officially and legally allowed to talk about the SK3!! It WILL be available for upgrade June 28 if you are an existing TMobile customer. UPGRADE!! Also, it will be available for purchase @ Madison Ave - NYC store and

It also has a 1.3 megapixel cam and a removable memory card.. Danger doesn't give you too much space to store pics, you can get a memory card with up to 2GB of space.. plus its lighter, and it has a trackball that makes things much easier.. believe me, its awesome.. i have played with it.

No, it's a major change. :) The OS upgrade that was sent OTA to SK users six months ago was a pretty major upgrade, too, but this is a heeell of a lot more. The SK OS, too, is much more stable than Windows Mobile, IME.

Suncom and Fido, will not get the Hiptop 3 until the end of the year. T-Mobile has an exclusive on it.
And what they meant was that you can't the Hiptop/Sidekick device and buy and use it with another carrier other than the one its meant for. The devices are built to connect to a specific APN and carrier which the Danger servers are located at.

No internet or IM since the IM runs through the internet on the SK. Can still text tho.

I do have to mention though that the new trackball seems to be an excellent feature. :) For the market its aimed at it seems to have "adequate" features.
