🙄 Can anyone please tell me if the Nokia 6820, which has a tri-band, works in Canada? Thanks!

it should. Make sure the phone doesn't have a sim lock on it though.

Only problem is it does not have 850 band it has 1900 but Rogers uses both 850 and 1900 more 850 then 1900 band. So it will work provided it is unlocked but may not work as well and you may have problems with data as well.

It depends on the phone and the carrier.

There are two versions of the 6820, both tri-band. The one sold in Europe is GSM 900/1800/1900. The one sold in the Americas is 850/1800/1900.

If your GSM carrier uses 850, then you will need the Americas version. If your GSM carrier only uses 1900, then you could use either version.
