If you have at least the $15.00/month Power Vision Access Pack and the $5.00/month 300 Text Messages Plan, here's how you can make your own ring tones.
1. Surf over to http://kickme.to/fosi
2. Download and install jetAudio Plus 6.28(it's the 6th program down on the 2nd column)
3. Launch jetAudio.
4. Click on Covert(Convert Audio)
5. Click the Config Button and where it says Constant Bitrate(CBR), set it for 128 Kps.
6. Click on the Run Audio Trimmer button and open up the MP3 you want to clip the ring tone.
7. After you've made your ringtone and saved it to your HD, head over to http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php and upload it to your Sprint wireless phone number.

128kbps is a little ecessive. The phones speaker isn't going to sound good enough to support that full range of that quality.
Make it 64kbps. It'll sound virtually (if not totally) the same, and it'll be half the size.
