If you would post a step by step instruction guide (for a V3m, or just about any mp3 capable motorola) I have custies that would kiss you. (I wouldn't let them if I were you, but there you go!)

making ringtones for your v3 is easy, all you need is motorola mobile phone tools and a data cable, you can buy the software for about 10 bucks and the 2 together for no more than 29. the software comes with the program that crops your own music to make your own ringtones, we sell it with our razrs our krazrs and our slvrs

I heard that moto phone tools doesn't work with the L7c. I don't sell the software, we had too many people complaining that we should know how to run it and do the installs on their phone for them. We don't have time or energy to do that for all the Razrs Krzrs and slvrs that we have sold. Who would?

That's what we tell custies to do. We had a lot of custies that were trying to do some pretty technologically profound things with some pretty antiquated (some of them as old as 486) computers. When the computer wouldn't recognize their usb cable(with adapters through the ears!) they would try to bring them back as defective. The same thing with the phones, the software and memory cards. So we just sell the memory cards, and the cables (and some cool stereo cables) and tell them where to get the software. There's too many things that can be wrong for us to be able to pinpoint, so we don't take returns on any of our cables or memory cards (well excepting a batch that kingston admitted were bad)

ah, i have 150 songs on my memory card and its only half full right now, i cropped about 6 of my songs to about 27 seconds for my own ring tones and its working out pretty good for me. i wanted the lg but they couldnt help me with ringtones, so i got the razr, even though i hate motorola its a cakewalk to make my own stuff the mobilephonetools is so very simple to use.

you should try Mobile Action data suite...just hook one up in your store and then not only will you know how to install it you will also be able to demo it really easy. It's about as hard to install as playing a music CD is. If you can read, you can do it.

If you have a bunch of CDs lying around the house, you might be surprised how many great ring tones you'll find there.

The process of converting them is pretty simple. And it costs nothing.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of home brew adult entertainment as long as they are of the legal age of consent for the state in which you reside and you get a signed consent form from each participating party. 😁

sorry guys. i wasn't thinking when i gave the info in my last post. i put in a link and apparently cause a rip in the space/time continuem(not spelled right is it?) and forum users everwhere were falling in, never to return... oh wait, that's not what happened at all!

let me try this again. get out your decoder rings.

you can go to a .NET website that has FREERINGERS and wallpapers. for about 8 bucks a year, you load up your phone with tones that you make and can relay them to the handset. it's unlimited downloads for your tones and all the wallpapers you can stand.
the wallpaper search is a little different. each day there is 15 pages of popular pics then you have to search the rest. i just put in words like air, and, ate,etc..
