anyone know if there coming out
they should. its smart. i have a 4 gb ipod but i want a music phone that can hold 4gb. The highest ive seen is 2 gb but theyre expensive, hard to find, and most device cant even format them. 👿

There is a sort of a limit with SD cards (including miniSD and microSD) of 2 GB. Not all phones can even support 2 GB cards, although some newer phones being released now and from this point forward will support 2 GB cards.
To support 4 GB cards and larger, the phone and card need to support the new SD HC (high-capacity) standard, which supports up to 32 GB.
They are just now rolling out 4 GB full-size SD HC cards. Later on (end of this year, maybe) I think they will support that with the smaller miniSD and microSD sizes.
