What phones/browsers can do web sites with JavaScript?

I have a T-Mobile Sidekick and I generally love it.

However, part of the appeal of a web browser was the ability to blow into a town and buy a hotel room last minute using Priceline, Hotwire, or Expedia.

Every one of those web sites requires JavaScript to make a purchase.

I'm aware of the new Treo 600, and have given that some thought.

But frankly, I wonder if there's not another cheaper answer.

I generally carry a separate Verizon phone from the Sidekick anyway.

I'm wondering if there's some device out there that can serve as my day to day telephone, and operate JavaScript web sites. Even if it lacks a keyboard, though I'd prefer one of course.

The rare occasions when I need to buy a hotel room, I could deal with a few ...
