Bluetooth & CDMA

Greetings.

Are there any CDMA phones that support Bluetooth currently on the market?

Are there any planned?

If not, what's the hold up?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Sprint has the Sony Ericsson T608. I do not know if Verizon has any yet.

Such an old phone though ... Does it really support Bluetooth?

Also, I have read conflicting accounts of the SE P900 supporting Sprint and not supporting Sprint. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks,

The T608 is actually pretty new. It was announced in March 2003 and shipped in December 2003.

You might be thinking of the T68, an old Sony Ericsson GSM phone with Bluetooth.

The P900 is a GSM phone, which automatically means it is 100% incompatible with Sprint, since their network is CDMA.

The Sony Ericsson T608 is one, but it can be hard to find, and gets mixed reviews.

Coming later this year will be the Motorola V710 and Nokia 6255i - both are very sweet phones! 😎
