The VX-8000 undeniably kicks butt, (awesome dual color displays, EV-DO, and megapixel cam,) but it could be a while before it's actually available. The Audiovox 9900 (awesome display, cam with video) is pretty slick, too, and should be out much sooner. Other notable phones on the way include the Motorola V710 (Bluetooth, dual color, megapixel cam), and the Samsung A670 (small, dual color, cam with video).

I see that VZW is restricting their use of Bluetooth on the V710 such as picture transfers and sending, plus someone said they have some kind of restrictions on e-mail. If this is true what good is the Bluetooth feature except for wireless hands free? Thanks in advance.

The limited profiles thing isn't necessarily Verizon's doing - that could be Motorola's choice.
The V710 supports three profiles, for three of the most common scenarios: Headset (for headsets :wink🙂, Handsfree (for cars and speakerphone accessories), and Dial-Up Networking (for laptops and PDAs accessing the Internet via 1xRTT).
