This is wiggy wiggy whack people.
The Sanyo 3100s are free for new service on the Sprint website yet the Sanyo 2400s(the non camera version of the 3100s) at $19.99. Unless someone has a job where camera phones are not permitted, why would anyone want the Sanyo 2400 when the 3100 is a step up and free aside from a few color choice diffences in between the two models?

Mennonite. It has to do with the commandment about graven images. Although a photograph is not technically "engraved" they take it to mean any manufactured image.

Ours is the same, the Samsung T309 and T609 are both free but the T209 is not... I am under the impression that the 309 and 609 are end of life phones however so that might explain it.
