Is a sprint PCS phone from a year or two ago unlockable to be on a Verizon Wireless network? They are both on 850/1900 network. Any help greatly appreciated.

It CAN be done, however you will need the MSL for the Sprint phone and whole lot of luck getting Verizon to add it. I know a few people who have Sanyo phones on VZW service but it was a pain to get done and none of the features work properly. Basically you have a really expensive phone with none of the features that you wanted it for in the first place.

there are several things to consider....first of all, to get the liscencing unlock from Sprint would take an act of God (and I don't mean something small like parting the Red Sea). Second of all, VzW would have to approve getting it on their system. They would automatically say no if it does not have aGPS capability. Even if they did eventually activate it, you would have to flash all of the firmware to support VzW's network, and good luck getting GiN, mobile web, or even texting to work on it ever.
