Aren't the first customers of the day always the best customers of the day? ^_^ WRONG! 👿 Had one today that walked in right as I opened the door, and before i could say

"hel-"

"DO YOU HAVE A BELT CLIP FOR THIS!?" (GZONE Boulder)

"Let me take a look here Sir... Looks like I dont, but I have a couple of other cases that might work just as well or better for it. Here's a pou-"

"I don't Want a F***ing pouch! I need a belt clip. where do you carry those F***ing things in this F***ing store"

"Sir, I just looked around and it doesnt appear that I ha-"

"That's F***ing great!" *goes to leave*

"Have a Goo-"

"F*** YOU A**HOLE"

Looks like today is gonna be great already ^_^

i would have stopped what i was saying and said, "sir if you can't stop cussing at me i'll call the police and have you escorted out of here"

and would already have my finger on the Send button.


i DESPISE jerk-offs like that - a customer cusses at me and my patience comes to an END.

i once got called a jerktard im like 🤣 thank you for making my day sir, and he responds with "No problem Jerktard" so i continue to laugh and hes like "Do i ammuse you, jerktard?" im like sir, yes, yes you do. Thank you...and he goes you prolly jerk off like a retard! im like WOAH now thats funny, and he hung up....just play along with there ignorance and they usually get even more upset and hangup...(but im only in a call center, i wish i was in a store)

I had a customer that wanted a belt clip for a LG VX3200 and then got mad at me when I said we didn't carry any because the phone was discontinued.

i think we all get that one often enough maybe not with that phone but with discontinued merch all the time.

car charger for old samsung's people coming in for accessories for their Iphone in a verizon store, people from sprint wanting me to look up their bill at my verizon store ect and so forth, and each one of those people have a false sense of entitlement and the error in judgement that tells them to yell and scream at me as if i just killed their puppy infront of them. I love nothing more than to smile at those people and remind them to have a nice day even as they are ranting all the way out my door.

Accessories for a phone from another carrier, needing something that only a corporate store can do, or , from before AT&T Mobility started selling Residential products, home phone services...boy do they get mad when we tell them we don't carry those phones/acc/services.

I didn't tell you to come here for that so don't get mad at me! And especially don't expect me to help you find it now that you've pissed me off, too!

people like this you know you're not going to make a sale on. direct them to ebay. that way at least you look semi-helpful.

something i do to deflect angry customers (not so much for accessories, but if they need a service i cannot provide is pull out my business card, lower my voice, and say, "i can give you a DIRECT number that will take you STRAIGHT TO the specific department....that way you won't be waiting on hold as long, etc, etc, etc...."

that way they leave with an OPTION and feel like you at least tried to help them, or let them in on this big secret of this special direct line to the assumption of liabilities department.... or to blackberry support like i did today.... etc.

with accessories, i offer to call the nearest store and see if they have them. helps to have the extra phone numbers listed in my phone!! 😲)
